Ground breaking album for the hard rock/heavy metal style. Jon Lord makes some incredible sounds on the Organ which distinguishes Deep Purple as more creative than other bands of this style. Richie Blackmore adds a solid but non-overbearing guitar and Ian Gillan is one powerful vocalist.
