I have a request I hope you can answer for me. My name is Mike and I was invited to THE CARS debut party in Boston at a hotel were THE CARS played a small concert I believe was in 1978. Ben Orr’s wife at the time was Kris King who worked for Electra. Kris’s father married my step-brothers MOM and she invited us to stay with her and Ben at their house in Boston and we all went together to the debut party.
Ben has since passed away and Kris has not wanted to go down the road of past memories and I remember Roy Thomas Baker, Jackson Brown and The J. Giels band were there too. I have been trying to find the footage that was shot at the party. I remember the camera’s shooting the Introduction of The Cars and then the concert. I have researched everywhere with no luck. Can you help me find the footage. If you can I have a great story to tell.
