Classic Rock Review of the Year 1992
Following the historic rock year of 1991, the following year of 1992 may have been a bit of a letdown. Still, there were some solid albums released this year, among which some were quite original and interesting. Despite “grunge” reaching its absolute zenith of popularity, we chose Neil Young‘s retro-sounding Harvest Moon as our album of the year.

1992 was a light year in rock album production but there were still about 20 albums of note beyongd the dozen which we reviewed. The most striking among these were the two albums released on the same day by Bruce Springsteen, Human Touch and Lucky Town. Also releasing albums were Elton John, Peter Gabriel, Kiss, Faith No More and Def Leppard. |
