I don’t know who’s writing these reviews, but this one STINKS! This album is solid, front to back. All killer no filler. Indifference is ‘mundane? Rats is ‘typical? Gimme a break. Those two songs are both master class. This is probably one of the best sophomore efforts recorded by a rock band in the 90’s, possibly ever. Each member of the band could easily give virtuoso performances every time, but it is the sum of its parts that make this band iconic. To be honest, this was the last PJ album I bought. I don’t know why, I feel their sound greatly began to change with Vitalogy. That’s not to say I don’t enjoy the post-Vs. material. This album belongs in the same conversation as Ten as a grunge landmark. Hands down.

i agree with Loren Nelson’s comment above, this album is masterclass as good as Ten did. This album is more raw sound than Ten and PJ prove that they can move from the successul album Ten. Every tracks give you good songs and good music, every performer of this band have a good skills. Yes after Vs i wasn’t enjoy the next album, i stop bought their album after No Code especially when matt cameron fill the drum. Sorry for my english
