This album, the only solo effort Jimmy Page out out to date, is a relatively unknown gem outside of true Zeppelin fans as though it is evident that the production is less polished and indeed ‘demo’ like than desired that kind of held it back commercially, the 9 tracks included here are outstanding as basically 1/3 of the album are energetic instrumentals with the remainder a combination of harder blues/rock nuggets with John Miles nailing it in the handling of the vocals on those primarily along with slower blues/rock tracks with Chris Farlowe successfully taking them on primarily. Jason Bonham on the kit and Felix Krish on bass meshes superbly in assisting Jimmy who as usual is on top of his game and crushes it.

This is the first time I’ve listened to this album, starting with Emerald Eyes. So glad it caught my attention. I’m always looking for more Jimmy Page songs to listen to as I’m a huge fan since I discovered Led Zeppelin in 1969 with Whole Lotta Love. Thank you so much for posting this! ❤️
