A perfect album and you captured it nicely. I always felt “I Got The News” was unjustly ignored as it was the one you heard the least often on FM radio. That every other track was a radio staple speaks of how classic this album is. But the lyrics to “I Got The News” are some of the Dan’s most sly and provocative.

While Victor Feldman was an accomplished vibraphonist (percussionist, really), his solo in “Black Cow” was on a Fender Rhodes piano. His Rhodes work can also be heard on “Deacon Blues”. Simply marvellous stuff!!!
